Puppets with Purpose Rolls Out in a Big Way!
With a $10,000 Waste Managment grant in hand, KMB and the Women of Infinite Possiblities (WIP) set out on an adventure unlike anything they had ever experienced. They created an educational puppet show targeting preschool and elementary school students. The shows focus on recycling, litter and beautification. Puppets with Purpose will travel to local schools free of charge. The wonderful WIP women served on the steering committee that wrote the script and the songs, created the graphics, and handmade all the props. In addition, the women serve as the volunteer puppeteers. A special thanks to Becki Martin, Peggie May, Helen Adams, Peggy Verret, Mary Alice Peters, Ginger Fortson, Leslie McGoey, Sheri Botman, Sandra Slifer and Linda Hawkins. Students from Denise Centola's Mandeville High School Talented Drama Department provided the voiceovers for the puppets in the recorded audio tape. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a show.
